Signed, sealed, delivered

Finished  and sold!!!
And delivered?
This customer requested that the dresser be delivered to her - normally customers pick up or we drop off to the consignment shop at our convenience because we have a car not a truck - and so we are going to have to strap it to the top of the roof because it doesn't fit in the trunk - and roll up to her house like the Beverly Hillbillies - ( picture me as a slightly older version of Ellie May pls - I cannot bear the thought of you thinking of me as Granny - )

UPDATE - we have the loan of a truck - so delivery will be a little more dignified, lol

So once again here is the before

and after

and close ups of the details

love her legs if you think I'm sexy - and you want my body

the porcelain handle detail matches the detail on the drawer - great great find from the Restore

bottom skirting

drawer interiors - stencilled on with silver craft paint
thought this should be spelled with one L ? but spell check highlighted it so what do I know
I'm Ellie May remember? Ain't had much schoolin' lol

stencil details - stencil is from the dollar store - another great find

before the stencilling

AND THE LAST PHOTO OF THE DAY

ASCP - Antoinette - and Old White
Chosen by a 12 year old girl who
talked her Mom into buying it for her
before it was even transformed!
Does this child have vision or what?
Her Mom's an interior designer - so the
apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

SO...............think I'll wrangle a possum or two for dinner tonight - ( with grits )
have to wake Jethro up now ( hmm maybe he's more of a Jed )

and now it's time to say goodbye to Sue and all her kin
and they would like to thank you folks for kindly dropping in
you're all invited back next week to this locality
to have a heapin' helpin' of their hospitality.

Y'ALL COME BACK NOW,
YOU HEAR?

( you do know you'll be humming this all day, right? )
